 Brilliant location, only 250 metres walk to San Mark's Square and San Moises' church. Few more metres and you are in front of the stunning San Mark's Basilica and the Dogi Palace with the Bridge of Sighs. The hotel faces Calle XXII Marzo, the poshest street in Venice for shopping lovers, with its many big labels. Not far is also the famous 18th century theatre La Fenice. The closest boat stop is Vallaresso, otherwise the hotel has got its own private pier in the hotel, for water taxis.

It is an ancient palace, built in the 14th century and residence of a patrician family. The hotel is a traditional Venetian building in its architecture, with a stone clad base and purple plastered upper floors.

The rooms are all different in size and some can be very spacious. Some rooms have exposed beams or lacunar ceilings; others feature a calce rasata finish (traditional Venetian method of finishing walls). All rooms are furnished in different style; they are equipped with mini bar, telephone, Internet connection, satellite television, radio, digital combination safe, sprinkler and individually controlled air conditioning.

Restaurant

An intimate, richly decorated room, with lead lined windows and exposed dark wood beams and pillars. The furnishings are traditional and the walls are wood paneled. The Caravella restaurant is one of Venice's historic venues. Its elegant ambience, recreating the interior of an ancient sailing ship, has welcomed guests from all over the world for forty years. It offers traditional Venetian and international cuisine accompanied by good wines and excellent service. During the summer "La Caravella" serves its guests in the open air, in a typically Venetian plant-filled courtyard adjacent to its winter premises. In the restaurant , bar service is also available. The guests can enjoy a rich buffet-style breakfast in the "Cortile" room. In the summer season, it is served instead in a typical Venetian courtyard.
